Vulnerability affecting computers running Microsoft Windows

Microsoft has recently made us aware of a serious vulnerability affecting Windows operating systems that could make it possible for an attacker to remotely take control of a computer. Microsoft has made available an operating system patch that removed the vulnerability. We will immediately begin pushing this patch to all Windows desktops and laptops that are configured to log in to the Wesleyan domain. After the automatic installation, Windows users will be prompted to restart their machines. Please, restart your system when prompted as the patch does not take effect until the restart occurs.
