Wireless Changes July 18 REMINDER

SECOND NOTICE REGARDING WIRELESS CHANGES

On Monday, July 18, the unencrypted AirWes network will go away and be replaced with: wesstudent, wesfacstaff, and wesguest. AirWes will no longer be in service.

Clean Access is not going away, however when you set up your computer to connect to the new network, it will store your login information and automatically login to Clean Access.

There are detailed instructions on the web: Click on the appropriate OS for your needs. http://www.wesleyan.edu/its/wireless/

Guest access should happen through wesguest and details are here:
Specific information on Guest access is here: http://www.wesleyan.edu/its/wireless/guest_wireless.html

NOTE: Users are strongly DISCOURAGED from using the wesguest network for themselves. There will be a bandwidth limitation placed on that network and is not designed for our regular community of users.

Your Desktop Support Specialist or Help Desk are ready and available to help you. You may refer to the self-help instructions referenced above which should allow you to configure it yourself.
