ITS has narrowed down the cause of this morning’s network outage to a problem on our Internet firewall. We are working with our vendor and Cisco to prevent it from re-occurring.
ITS experienced a major system outage on the primary (core) network switches that made all network services unavailable for about 15 minutes. We are investigating the cause of this issue and will report back to the community. Services are now coming back online. We will update the community as we know more.
