ITS encountered several unforeseen problems during the emergency maintenance and many services were interrupted for extended periods. We have been working through the night to recover them and expect to have most or all service up in the next few hours. Unfortunately desktop backups were affected and did not occur overnight as scheduled.

Follow up on Desktop Backup

ITS resolved the desktop backup (Tivoli Storage Manager) issue. Scheduled backups resumed on Monday evening (June 21) and have continued to run uninterrupted. If you are having trouble with your backup since Monday evening, contact your Desktop Support Specialist.

Desktop Backup Outage

Faculty and Staff on campus: The desktop backup system (Tivoli Storage Manager) is offline and no backups have occurred since Saturday, June 19. ITS is aggressively working with the vendor to get the problem resolved as soon as possible. We will keep you posted.
