This afternoon at 2:00PM ITS received reports of wireless access problems surfacing around campus. We were still researching the root cause of last night’s issue and were able to isolate it to a problem with our wireless controller hardware. We were able to address the problem within an hour. Beginning at 1AM on April 11, there was a campus-wide wireless outage and wired network slowness. We believe we have isolated the problem and wireless access and network traffic resumed operation at 4:10AM. We are still looking into root causes of the problem. We will continue to keep you notified as information becomes available.
