ITS System Announcements

We are experiencing Portfolio slowness due to heavy Pre-Registration Load.

Mandatory 10-Digit dialing for local calls will begin November 14, 2009, in preparation for next year

SFIS/HRMS and Portfolio will be down for maintenance from 5:30-6:30 AM 11/11/2009 (tomorrow morning).

On Saturday November 14th 6:00 AM – 5PM, ITS will be upgrading the Millennium Production Database. Wesnet, WesCareer and the on-line giving page will be down.

PeopleSoft Payroll Tax Updates will be applied Friday November 13th 5:30 – 7:30 AM. Portfolio will be down.

As of noon, all systems have been restored to their normal state and are back online.

A brown out on campus has impacted some systems. As a result a DNS server, EPortfolio, and a streaming server have been affected. EPortfolio performance has been disrupting users in different ways. We are currently experiencing a system problem which is affecting access to files on both Dragon and WesFiles for many users. We are working aggressively to solve this problem. I will continue to keep you posted.
