We are experiencing some portfolio login problems. ITS is investigating.

On Tuesday January 26, the Portfolio and database maintenance window will be extended by half an hour from 5-7AM to 5-7:30AM. Blackboard and Wesfiles will not be affected by this extension. We experienced portfolio slowness at 8:30 AM this morning. The portfolio slowness has cleared and we are continuing to monitor it.

Wesfiles is still offline due to unanticipated difficulties encountered during the upgrade procedure. We expect to have the system back up by 4:30PM today. The upgrade problems were not evident during test upgrades of the Wesfiles system performed in preparation for today’s maintenance. There will be a 1 hour network outage on Wednesday, January 13, from 6PM to 7PM affecting the following buildings: Clark Hall 200 Church – dorm Alpha Delta North/south College Judd Olin Pac Allbritton Chapel Freeman Center for the Americas President’s residence This outage is to perform important hardware maintenance before the beginning of semester.

Due to unforeseen problems with the update, Wesfiles is offline longer than we hoped. At this point, we think we will have it back online between 1:00 and 1:30 PM. We apologize for the delay of this notification while we determined the scope of the issue and timeframe to resolution.

There will be a 4 hour power outage at the Exley Science Center and Science Library on Saturday, January 16, 2010 from 10 AM to 2 PM.
