As part of the ongoing campus wide electrical system upgrade project the Central Power Plant will be shutdown from 3:30 AM to 6:00 AM on Tuesday, October 6, 2009. The result is that there will be no steam available during this shutdown. This means that heat and hot water campus wide, with the exception of wood frame buildings, and steam used in the sciences and at Usdan will be interrupted. There will be no impact to electrical power or lighting in any buildings other than the power plant.
