November 30 hardware problem affects Cyrus and People Soft

November 30: At approximately 5:45pm, ITS had a hardware problem that caused Cyrus email and People Soft HRMS/SFIS to go offline. Cyrus recovered within 40 minutes; People Soft HRMS took a little longer to recover. This resulted in downtime for that module of People Soft for about 4 hours.
