A brown out on campus has impacted some systems. As a result a DNS server, EPortfolio, and a streaming server have been affected. EPortfolio performance has been disrupting users in different ways. As part of the ongoing campus wide electrical system upgrade project the Central Power Plant will be shutdown from 3:30 AM to 6:00 AM on Tuesday, October 6, 2009. We are currently experiencing difficulties with the phone system. Several phones are out of service. It is being worked on and we hope to have it resolved shortly. We apologize for the inconvenience.
We have been able to localize the WesFiles troubles and have been working with the vendor on the final resolution. In the meantime, the system has been stabilized and has been up consistently for 2 days. We do not anticipate further outages. Of course, if anything changes, we will notify you.
We have been experiencing intermittent performance issues with Wesfiles since Saturday 9/12. Users are occasionally having problems logging in and/or losing their Xythos driving mapping. We are pursuing the issue with the vendor to get it resolved. When users are connected, Wesfiles is performing as expected and files can be uploaded and downloaded. We will … Read more
