Server facstaff, serving email for a variety of users, will need to be shutdown for 15 mins on this Friday at 5:15PM. Email will be briefly interrupted for users with their inbox on facstaff, but no messages will be lost.

Security Patches will be applied to the PeopleSoft and CURL Databases on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 during the regular Tuesday morning backup. The backup window will be completed at the regular time (7:30 AM).

Database Security Patches will be applied to the Blackboard WesCard System from 6:00 – 8:00 AM on Friday, March 21st.

The Dragon file server will be down for maintenance from 11PM on March 19th to 5AM on March 20th and again from 11PM on March 20th to 5AM on March 21st. TSM Maintenance Sat 3/15

On Saturday, March 15th, TSM will undergo maintenance. Database backups will start at 11:00 AM. Laptop backup schedules (starting at noon) will fail as the database backup requires an extensive amount of time. The backup and maintenance activities should be completed by 6 PM. PeopleSoft and ePortfolio will be down between 5AM and 7AM on Wednesday, March 12th for maintenance.

As of 12 noon, rebooting the voicemail devices has alleviated the VM problems.

Sporadic voicemail problems

We have observed that incoming calls are sporadically not rolling over to voicemail, or that it takes much longer than usual to do so. We are working to resolve the problem.  We will update this blog with any status changes.

Problems with Dragon file server
