RESOLVED: VPN outage 3-31-15

VPN access was down for Windows clients only from about 5PM yesterday afternoon until about noon today.  Mac and Linux clients were not affected.

Problems with PeopleSoft and ePortfolio: Resolved at 12:30 PM

Update:  As of 12:30 PM, the problems have been resolved.  Peoplesoft and ePortfolio are now available. Previous message: Problems with a database server are currently preventing logins to PeopleSoft and ePortfolio.  We are working to resolve the problem.  This page will be updated as more information becomes available.

Dragon moved to new hardware

The Dragon file server has been moved to new hardware.  We expect that this will greatly improve stability.  If you are having any issues with Dragon, please e-mail its@wesleyan.edu.

Problem Affecting Cyrus Users

The Cyrus mail server is experiencing difficulties causing users to be unable to access their accounts. We are working to resolve the issue and will post an update as events progress. Thank you

Wesleyan domain login issues between 3:30 and 3:50 this afternoon

One of our domain controllers that processes logins to the Wesleyan network malfunctioned at 3:30 this afternoon.  Any of our systems that rely on domain logins, including Exchange mail, Web mail, blogs, wikis, and Wesfiles, may have rejected some logins between 3:30 and 3:50 PM.  The problem has been resolved.

Slow Network
