Update:  As of 12:30 PM, the problems have been resolved.  Peoplesoft and ePortfolio are now available.
Previous message: Problems with a database server are currently preventing logins to PeopleSoft and ePortfolio.  We are working to resolve the problem.  This page will be updated as more information becomes available.

The Dragon file server has been moved to new hardware.  We expect that this will greatly improve stability.  If you are having any issues with Dragon, please e-mail its@wesleyan.edu.

There is an electrical shutdown scheduled for SATURDAY, JANUARY 17, 2009 from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

On Friday, January 16 between 9p and 10p we will be replacing our hardware that runs our Dragon file server with a virtual server. We will be failing over from our primary network load balancer to the secondary at 5PM this evening to implement a software upgrade on the load balancer. The switch should be transparent to users.

We are currently working on upgrading Dragon to new hardware to address recuring stability issues. We anticipate having Dragon upgraded by Tuesday, Jan 20th. On Tuesday January 13th between 5:30 and 7:30 AM, we will be upgrading several Oracle Portfolio Applications. If you experience any problems with the applications listed below, please email its@wesleyan.edu.
The following applications will be upgraded: Financial Inquiry, Voyager/FRS Interface, Financial Planning Commitment Control, WSA Applications, Managers

There will be a brief interruption (circa 15 mins) for users logged in to condor on THU 1/8/2008. This maintenance is required in preparation for Saturdays maintenance work.
