The PeopleSoft Student System and WesPortal will be down from Friday June 9th at 3:00 PM until Saturday June 10th at 5:00 PM for a system/security upgrade. Moodle, WFS, Directory, EMS, Library, Gapps and Calendar can all be reached from the Tools dropdown on the Wesleyan Home Page: www.wesleyan.edu .
Due to Grade Entry and Summer Session conflicts, the WesPortal/Portfolio and PeopleSoft Student Database maintenance window has been moved to Thursday, June 1st, from 4-5 PM. 6 buildings had their wired connections interrupted after a software problem on their switches this morning: Admission Fisk GLS Astronomy Clark ITS (Exley) Some buildings are already back online. The rest should be fully restored in 30-45 minutes.
Dragon will be unavailable between 10:45 and 11:15 PM on Tues, April 18. Please be sure to save any files prior to this time.
UPDATE: ITS has narrowed down the cause of this morning’s network outage to a problem on our Internet firewall. ITS is working on an issue which has disrupted many services including WFS. Some are offline and others are very slow. We are in the process of restoring them now while we continue to research the root cause.
Update – Internet service restored as of 11:15. ITS is addressing a problem with Internet connectivity. This affects all services and sites off campus.
