The Lyris email list system will be upgraded on Thursday July 30 from 3 to 8 PM. Messages will not be processed through the system during that time. Any messages sent to a list in that time will be held until the upgrade is complete.

Aug 8- Portfolio Downtime

On Saturday, August 8, 2009, there will be a major upgrade to our core Portfolio/Web database. This upgrade will begin at 6 AM and be completed by 2:00 pm. During this time the Portfolio, events calendar and on-line directory will be unavailable.
Email, Blackboard and Wesfiles will continue to work. Blackboard and Wesfiles must be accessed through their direct urls:

July 28 – Lyris Upgrade

The Lyris email list system will be upgraded on Tuesday, July 28 from 7-10AM. Messages will not be processed through the system during that time. Any messages sent to a list in that time will be held until the upgrade is complete.

ITS will be performing an upgrade to our network firewalls between 5:30 and 6:30 AM on Tuesday, July 21st. During the maintenance, access to network resources and the Internet will be interrupted.

Wesfiles will be unavailable Tue July 14th, 7-8 am for a software upgrade maintenance.

The Portfolio and Student/HR System will be down for maintenance on Wednesday July 8, 2009 at 7:00 AM for 15 minutes.

Wesleyan Web Servers are experiencing difficulties. We are dignosing the problem and expect to correct it soon.

Thursday, July 2, at 5:30 AM there will be a brief interruption to our Internet connectivity while a system upgrade is taking place. The outage will be no more than 30 minutes.

On Thursday, June 25, between 5AM and 7AM, we will be performing urgent maintenance to our data storage system that will require the following services to be unavailable: WesFiles, Exchange email, PeopleSoft, ePortfolio, and TSM backup.

Blackboard will be available by connecting directly to http://blackboard.wesleyan.edu and mailboxes on Cyrus (not on Exchange) will also be available.

Between Sunday afternoon and early this morning, we were experiencing login failures to VPN and the wireless network. These problems have been resolved. Please contact operations@wesleyan.edu with any ongoing login problems.
